Reports of a suspicious person drew a large police presence to Westside Road Tuesday afteroon.
Vernon North Okanagan RCMP began investigating the report around 12:30 p.m. May 28.
Further into the afternoon, one witness reported seeing six undercover pickup trucks and officers with weapons drawn blocking traffic on Vernon害羞草研究所檚 Highway 97 near Westside.
害羞草研究所淎s the investigation progressed, police determined there may be an elevated risk and members of the RCMP害羞草研究所檚 Southeast District Emergency Response Team responded to the area to assist frontline officers with locating the person,害羞草研究所� said Const. Chris Terleski, media relations officer.
