Funding for VJH is part of the government害羞草研究所檚 MRI strategy, which was released in 2015 to address increasing demand and existing waitlists.
The strategy is committed to ramping up the number of scans performed over four years, to reach 65,000 more procedures annually by 2019.
According to the Ministry of Health, the government has acquired 16 new MRI scanners over 10 years, for a total of 25.
