TOFIN, Samuel

Passed away on December 1, 2016 at the age of 94.  He is survived by his loving wife May Leone of 71 years; daughters Pat (Les) Bauer of Kelowna and Judy (Richard) Thompson of the Bahamas; grandchildren Tim (Neely) Thompson, Chad Thompson, Shane (Crystal) Bauer, and Keri Bauer; great-grandchildren Taylor Thompson, Austin Thompson, and Payton Bauer; and sister Nellie (Joe) Mannarino of Penticton.  Samuel is predeceased by siblings Mary (Leonard) Thompson and Andy (Laura) Tofin.  The family is grateful for the excellent care Sam received at Hospice House.  A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 9, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice.  Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.springfieldfuneralhome.com, 250-860-7077.
