The Victoria Harbourcats ended the Falconsº¦Ðß²ÝÑо¿Ëù™ 2017 campaign Wednesday night at Elks Stadium with an 11-5 victory.

The º¦Ðß²ÝÑо¿Ëù˜Cats won the best-of-three North Division final playoff series 2-0 and now advance to the WCL final.

Victoria jumped on Kelowna starter Andrew Alvarez for eight earned runs in just 4 1/3 innings on the way to building up an insurmountable 9-2 lead.

The Falcons, who didnº¦Ðß²ÝÑо¿Ëù™t know until Monday night who their playoff opponent would be, made the long trip to Victoria on Tuesday for Game 1 of the series and lost 8-2.

Kelowna clinched a playoff spot in July after winning the North Divisionº¦Ðß²ÝÑо¿Ëù™s first half title with a 17-10 record.

The Falcons went 11-16 in the second half of the season.

The Falcons were under the guidance of field manager Bryan Donohue for the second straight season.
