In Kelowna, few names are more synonomous with the sport of boxing than Jon Agar and Bill Agar.

Now, the next generation of Agars has stepped into the ring.

Brothers Tristan and Christian Agar both came home with gold medals from the B.C. Bronze Gloves Championships last weekend in Cranbrook.

The two boys are the nephews of Jon and Bill Agar and the son of their elder brother, Chris Agar.

Tristan, 11, won his division at 90 lbs, while Christian, 8, was a winner in the 60 lb category. The Bronze Gloves is held annually for novice boxers who have had fewer than 10 bouts.
