The 33-year-old will be playing singles and doubles at the tie against Korea

Vernon害羞草研究所檚 own Vasek Pospisil will be opening up Canada害羞草研究所檚 Davis Cup season in Montreal.

Canada will face off against Korea at the IGA Stadium in Montreal for the Davis Cup tennis qualifying tie on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 2-3.

Pospisil and teammate Gabriel Diallo will be playing singles matches against Seongchang Hong (world number 224) and Soonwoo Kwon (number 700) respectively.

In doubles, Pospisil will team up with Alexis Galarneau to face the Korean duo on Jisung Nam and Minkyu Song.

Pospisil and Galarneau played four Davis Cup matches together as doubles partners in 2023, winning three times.

It has been a tough start to the season for 33-year-old, who has dropped his last six singles matches and is at a ranking of 486th in the world.

The winner of the tie between Korea and Canada will advance to the 2024 Finals, where they will join Australia, Italy, England, Spain and the winners of the 11 other ties, in a 16-nation lineup.
