Several parkgoers in Lake Country caught a small whirlwind phenomenon on June 4 in Lake Country.
A dust devil spiralled up into the sky at Jack Seaton Park and lasted for about three or four minutes Sunday afternoon.
Both a family who was enjoying the park and another woman nearby caught the action on video and shared it on Facebook.

A dust devil is a strong, well-formed, and relatively short-lived whirlwind. It ranges in size from half a metre wide and a few metres tall or even larger at more than 10 metres wide and more than one km tall.
