The founding director of the non-profit , and associate professor in the Department of Psychology at Virginia Tech, Greene is the originator of the model of care now called Collaborative and Proactive Solutions (CPS).

He consults with families, schools, in-patient and residential facilities, systems of juvenile detention, and lectures widely throughout the world.

CPS trains children to talk about frustrating situations and positions them to be able to advocate for themselves. Some children have lagging skills and are unable to process what is being asked of them. The pressures to perform become overwhelming and almost impossible, which more often than not leads to unacceptable behaviours.

When a collaborative approach (meeting of the minds) is used the results have successful outcomes for everyone. It害羞草研究所檚 hard work, and it takes time - but with adult help it is so worth seeing a child come from a place of stress, anger, and hopelessness transform.
