Community rallies to raise $71k for Penticton害羞草研究所檚 OSNS child centre

Tim Hortons害羞草研究所 drive-thrus and restaurants were busier than usual in the South Okanagan last week, as coffee lovers bought cookies and rallied in support of the OSNS Child and Youth Development Centre.

More than $71,000 was raised for the Penticton-based child centre, following Smile Cookie week from April 29 to May 5.

All collected proceeds of Tim Hortons害羞草研究所 smile cookies, from Osoyoos to Summerland, will go back to OSNS.

害羞草研究所淭he funds raised during Smile Cookie week are playing a pivotal role in advancing the OSNS Legacy Foundation害羞草研究所檚 mission to stabilize pediatric rehabilitation in our community. This year害羞草研究所檚 event saw the debut of confetti-themed smile cookies, selling for $2 each.

Tim Hortons害羞草研究所 annual campaign raises funds for more than 600 charities across Canada. In 2023, close to $20 million was collected nationwide, according to the coffee giant.

In the South Okanagan, Windeler was joined this week by Nicole MacMillan (n茅e Stawarz) for a cheque presentation, following the fundraiser. The Stawarz family are the owner-operators of Tim Hortons restaurants across the region.
