Avast ye mateys. It's Talk Like a Pirate Day, and there was probably some pirate talk at the Vernon Civic Arena in 1939 duriing the Rotary Ice Carnival, involving this pirate ship and nautically dressed skaters. Museum and Archives Photo #17182
