Sikkes is part of the , which will be showcasing its members害羞草研究所� artwork at their annual Simply Art show.

This year, the show will be held at the Harvest Golf Club, April 8 and 9.

The show doesn害羞草研究所檛 have a theme but the art show will feature artwork from approximately 16 palette members.

害羞草研究所淭here害羞草研究所檚 a variety of animals, still life and landscape paintings,害羞草研究所� said Sikkes.

Sikkes mostly paints landscapes, 害羞草研究所渢rying to represent the beauty (of nature).害羞草研究所�

She moved to the Okanagan four and a half years ago, she said she plans to start painting the Okanagan as she becomes accustomed to the difference in landscapes. Most of her artwork is based on landscapes from Smithers, B.C.

害羞草研究所淭here害羞草研究所檚 more colour here, and lots of exposed rock,害羞草研究所� she said.

A raffle will also be held with proceeds going to United Way. The winner will get to select a painting.

The event will happen Saturday from 1 p.m. to 9 with an opening gala opening at 7 to 9 p.m.

Sunday害羞草研究所檚 event is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
