It害羞草研究所檚 time to get those vocal chores, dancing shoes and choreography moves in time because registration is open for the fifth annual Angel Award talent show.

Lake Country resident Louise Boisvert created the show as a way to fundraise and raise awareness for juvenile idiopathic arthritis.

Every year her daughter, Elise, who was diagnosed with the disease at four years old, sings Warrior.

Elise once said during an interview with Capital News, that singing made her forget her pain.

She suffers from chronic pain, pain that never goes away, except when she is on stage singing.

This year, the show will be held at the Rotary Centre for the Arts. Last year, it was held in Lake Country.

害羞草研究所淢y heart is in Lake Country. I live here and work here,害羞草研究所 said Louise.

There are also new categories this year. First place is $1,000 for the overall Angel Award Performance and category winners earn top placements in each category: dance, vocal and instrumental.

A people害羞草研究所檚 choice award is also available for all entrants.

A woman from Alberta loved the performances so much, she doesn害羞草研究所檛 mind travelling the distance to see the show.
