North Okanagan Youth and Family Services Society (NOYFSS) is back in the pink.

The Vernon-based organization is bringing back its popular NOYFSS Goes Pink fundraising initiative.

On Wednesday, Feb. 28, NOYFSS staff will commemorate Pink Shirt Day by wearing pink and selling Compliment Cupcakes.

Pink Shirt Day is an initiative that raises awareness of bullying in schools, workplaces, homes, and online. It also raises funds to support programs and groups that foster healthy self-esteem in children and youth.

Each pink-frosted cupcake not only pays tribute to Pink Shirt Day, but every cupcake will also offer a compliment.

There are multiple ways for the business community and individuals to get involved:

害羞草研究所� Pre-Order Compliment Cupcakes for your staff or co-workers. Orders are made by donation and will be delivered to the business location on Feb. 28;

害羞草研究所� Make a bid on the exclusive professionally made cupcakes from local sponsors, including Gumtree Catering 害羞草研究所� more info on how to bid coming soon. Local bakeries and pastry shops are still welcome to donate their specialty cupcakes for the auction;

害羞草研究所� Buy a cupcake at NOYFSS (3100-32nd Ave.) on Feb. 28 from 12-2 p.m. A limited number of Compliment Cupcakes will be available by donation (cash, cheque or card are accepted).

害羞草研究所淎nd don害羞草研究所檛 forget to wear pink on Feb. 28 to show your support and stand up against bullying,害羞草研究所� said NOYFSS.

All cupcakes will be sold by donation with 100 per cent of funds raised going to support children and youth anti-bullying and self-esteem programs and groups at NOYFSS.
