Westside Daze: Kids fair coming to West Kelowna festival

Westside Daze to feature Children's Fair full of fun

The organizers of the annual Westside Daze festival in West Kelowna are excited to announce that this year's Children's Fair will feature tons of activities for all ages.

Westside Daze is an annual event held at Memorial Park and will run from July 12-14.

The Children's Fair will kick off at noon and go until 6 p.m. on July 12.

Attendees at the fair will have the opportunity to participate in games and group activities. Additionally, special feathered, furry, fanged and fun little guests will be available for people to hold and observe.

The Little Reptile Queen will bring her friends to the fair to educate and expose people about scaley, slimy and slithering critters.

There will also be a hatch-a-chick booth at the fair where people can hold baby chickens that are only a few days old.

To fuel the day of fun, there will be 15 food trucks set up around Memorial Park to feed those enjoying the day.

Beside the fair is the concert's main stage, where artists will be performing from 6 -10 p.m. The day of fun will end with a drone show over the park.
