A Vancouver Island dance duo has proven its calibre and is now only one step away from the largest cash prize in Canadian television history.
During a semifinals broadcast of the televised talent competition series Canada害羞草研究所檚 Got Talent on Tuesday, May 7, Jacksun Fryer and Carlow Rush 害羞草研究所� also known as Funkanometry 害羞草研究所� survived the dreaded semifinals elimination round, according to a press release from Rogers Communications.
The two first appeared on the series April 2 with a routine that started off with Lynyrd Skynyrd害羞草研究所檚 Sweet Home Alabama and changed to Queen害羞草研究所檚 Don害羞草研究所檛 Stop Me Now. On May 7, the duo showed off their funky moves and grooved to a synchronized and harmonized routine to a cover of Lipps Inc.害羞草研究所檚 Funkytown.
Once again, the show害羞草研究所檚 judges, Howie Mandel, Lilly Singh, Trish Stratus and Kardinal Offishall had nothing but praise following their performance.

Stratus referred to Nanaimo害羞草研究所檚 Fryer and Duncan害羞草研究所檚 Rush as not only dancers, but storytellers, comedians and 害羞草研究所渆xactly what the million dollar season needed.害羞草研究所�
害羞草研究所淓ven though you took it back to Howie害羞草研究所檚 time with Funkytown, you guys made it feel very young, very youthful,害羞草研究所� Offishall said.
According to the release, Funkanometry is so far the only act from British Columbia to make the final cut, and one of only six acts selected yesterday. Of the 14 that were announced as semifinalists, four were sent home and four were sent to the public vote so viewers can determine their fate 害羞草研究所� which includes the singer from Mission, Eshan Sobti.
Now that the duo will find themselves on the final stage, they害羞草研究所檒l soon need help from their fans to win it all and take the grand prize of $1 million dollars back to the Island.
