Memories, imaginings, dreams descend on Kelowna Art Gallery

Stories That Animate Us can be viewed from June 22 to September 22

A selection of Canadian and international voices are highlighted in a new exhibit coming to the Kelowna Art Gallery.

Stories That Animate Us features works on paper and animations from oral histories, knowledge systems, personal memories, imaginings, and dreams. 

From spirit realms to imagined futures, the artists weave narratives that illuminate culture, community, and enduring human themes of memory, mortality, and self.

Stories That Animate Us is sponsored by the Vancouver Art Gallery under the Across the Province program.

The exhibit can be viewed from June 22 to September 22 at the (1315 Water Street).

An Exhibition Reception is set for July 19. The event is free and open to the public. are appreciated.
