Sanitary sewer improvements, muti-use path for Kelowna's Glenmore area

Infrastructure improvements on Glenmore Road will mean traffic disruptions starting on June 24.

害羞草研究所淐urrently, effluent in the Glenmore sanitary network must funnel into smaller connecting mains on the way to the wastewater treatment plant,害羞草研究所 according to a city media release. 害羞草研究所淭his project will eliminate that step, significantly decreasing the risk of overburdening the smaller local mains."

The new multi-use path on the west side of Glenmore Rd. will be extended from Dallas Rd. to Ballou Rd. and connect to the Yates Rd multi-use path. 

From June 24 to October, north bound lanes on Glenmore Rd. will be closed between Cross and Union roads for the $6 million sewer project. Detours will be in place, along with alternating traffic in the south bound lane. 
 
From June 25 to early August, south bound lanes on Glenmore Rd will be reduced to single-lane traffic between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. between Dallas and Kane/Ballou roads for multi-use path construction. 

Ballou Rd. between Glenmore and McTavish roads will be closed during the project. Transit stops will be relocated during construction. Visit the for more information.
