3 vehicle crash sends debris flying across Highway 97 in Kelowna

The incident happened at Sexsmith Road and Highway 97

Multiple emergency crews responded to a three-vehicle collision at Sexsmith Road and Highway 97, at about 11 a.m. Monday.

Highway 97 is reduced to one lane southbound and the left turning lane is closed onto Sexsmith.

All three vehicles will have to be towed from the scene. One of the cars had its bumper fall off in the crash.

The area is scattered with debris which will need to be cleared before the highway can fully reopen.

BC Ambulance attended the scene, however, no one appeared to go to hospital.

Traffic is slow going southbound on Highway 97.
