Don't be a flicking idiot; Fire Smart open house in Lake Country

The Lake Country Fire Department is hosting its annual Fire Smart open house on Saturday, June 15.

From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., residents of all ages are encouraged to stop by Station 71 on Okanagan Centre Road East to learn tips on wildfire preparation.

The day will include a free hot dog lunch, skills tests, and a chance to check out the fire trucks up close.
