Former MLA assistant seeks Vernon-Monashee-Lake Country riding

A familiar face is putting her name forward as a Conservative candidate for the new federal Vernon-Lake Country-Monashee riding.

Min Randhawa was born and raised in London, England and moved to Canada in 1993 and has lived in Vernon since.

害羞草研究所淚 had the privilege of serving the people of Vernon-Monashee for over 20 years as the constituency assistant to three remarkable MLA害羞草研究所檚,害羞草研究所 said Randhawa (formerly Sidhu).

She also worked on a family farm, ran a successful business and raised her children here.

害羞草研究所淪ince arriving in Vernon 30 years ago I害羞草研究所檝e been engaged in working for our community,害羞草研究所 said Randhawa, who was president of the Multicultural Association of Vernon, sat on several boards such as ILearnBC and the Vernon Women害羞草研究所檚 Transition House, was the founder and honorary chair of the North Okanagan Heritage Society and set up a sustaining donor with the Community Foundation of North Okanagan called Women to the Power of Ten.

害羞草研究所淚害羞草研究所檝e been blessed and fortunate to have had a very good life in Canada, but today I am concerned,害羞草研究所 she said. 害羞草研究所淚 have family and friends that are struggling to survive. I害羞草研究所檓 concerned about public safety, individual rights and freedom, our healthcare system, and the lack of fiscal responsibility amongst the current government. I am concerned about our seniors being ignored, and ensuring our children have the opportunity to make a good life for themselves.害羞草研究所

Raised with strong Sikh values, Randhawa believes in hard work, community service and the power of giving back.

Min joins Kevin Kraft, Scott Anderson, Teresa Durning and Rachel Enns in seeking the Conservative Party of Canada candidacy.
