A missing UBC Okanagan student has been found dead in Vancouver.
Japanese exchange Mia Saito, was declared missing on Jan. 9 after taking a flight from Kelowna to Vancouver on Jan. 7.
On Friday, Jan. 26, the Vancouver Police Department (VPD) confirmed to Black Press Media that Saito was found dead and stated her death doesn害羞草研究所檛 appear to be part of a crime. It wasn害羞草研究所檛 confirmed when Saito died but according to a social media post, Saito died on Jan. 12 at the latest.
