UPDATE: New wildfire sparked near Lake Country under control

A wildfire that started along Postill Lake Road in Lake Country is out according to a Facebook post by the Okanagan Forest Task Force.

A spot-sized fire spotted near Postill Lake in Lake Country Friday, July 19 is already under control.

BC Wildfire Service reported the estimated .009 hectare fire Friday morning.

It is located near the eight kilometre mark on Postill Road.

The cause remains under investigation.
