It害羞草研究所檚 been one week since BC United Leader Kevin Falcon pulled his candidates out of October害羞草研究所檚 provincial election and suspended the party害羞草研究所檚 campaign, and the fate of Central Okanagan candidates appears to still be up in the air. 

The BC United website features a letter from Falcon explaining his actions. 

害羞草研究所淲hile this decision wasn害羞草研究所檛 easy, I know that I害羞草研究所檓 doing the best thing for B.C.,害羞草研究所� the letter reads in part.

Four individuals were named to represent the party in the Central Okanagan; Michael Humer (Kelowna-Centre), Ashley Ramsay (Kelowna-Mission), Pavneet Singh (Kelowna-Lake Country-Coldstream), and Stephen Johnston (West Kelowna-Peachland).

During an Aug. 28 news conference, Falcon and BC Conservative Leader John Rustad said they would be contacting candidates from both parties to inform them if they will be the successful candidates for the fall election.

The BC Conservative website still lists its picks for the Central Okanagan; Kristina Loewen (Kelowna-Centre), Gavin Dew (Kelowna-Mission), Tara Armstrong (Kelowna-Lake Country-Coldstream), Macklin McCall (West Kelowna-Peachland).

Black Press Media made efforts to contact all former BC United and current BC Conservative Central Okanagan candidates in the days following Falcon害羞草研究所檚 announcement for comment. Humer, Johnston and Dew replied.

On Sept. 3, BC Conservative Leader John Rustad welcomed BC United MLAs Ian Paton (Delta South), Peter Milobar (Kamloops-North Thompson, now Conservative candidate in Kamloops Centre), and Trevor Halford (Surrey-White Rock) to the party.
