A crowd of mittens, hot chocolate and smiles were illuminated by the Tree of Hope in Kelowna害羞草研究所檚 Landmark District, for the 26th year, on the evening of Nov. 24.
Each year, families, couples and awe-struck onlookers gather under the tree for the annual lighting.
The 120ft structure shines down on Harvey Avenue throughout the holiday season and acts as a symbol of philanthropy and kindness for Kelowna residents.
Each year, at the lighting of the Tree of Hope the Stober Foundation donates to a local charity. This year, the Stober Foundation donated $500,000 to the Central Okanagan Food Bank.

The next tree lighting ceremony will be held in downtown Kelowna on Dec. 2.
The event is a free annual event held Stuart Park beside the skating rink. The downtown light up will feature live entertainment, a winter market, activities, skating, food, and Santa.
event will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., and the tree light-up takes place at 5:30 pm.
