Prestigious award for executive director at Kelowna's Starbright Centre

The executive director of Kelowna害羞草研究所檚 Starbright Children害羞草研究所檚 Development Centre was recently honoured with the King Charles III Coronation Medal.

Dr. Rhonda Nelson was nominated for the award by Kelowna-Mission MLA Renee Merrifield. The Coronation Medal is presented to Canadians who are inspirational to their communities. 

A medal presentation took place on Wednesday, Aug. 28 in Kelowna to celebrate recipients from the Central Okanagan.

"Recipients of this award are outstanding citizens who contribute positively to their local community,害羞草研究所 said Carol Meise, president and chair of Starbright害羞草研究所檚 board of directors. 害羞草研究所淪tarbright害羞草研究所檚 volunteer board, our dedicated staff members, and the supportive families we serve are incredibly fortunate to have Rhonda in our lives. Rhonda pours her heart and soul into everything she does.害羞草研究所

Dr. Nelson has been with Starbright since 2013 and has extensive experience working with schools and agencies serving children and youth.
