UPDATE: Power restored in downtown Kelowna

UPDATE 8:11 a.m.

The power outage has been restored. It was caused due to equipement damage.

A power outage is effecting 780 Fortis BC customers in downtown Kelowna on Thursday morning.

The outage started at 4:50 a.m. on April 4 and extends from Manhattan Drive to Sunset Drive.

At this time, the cause of the outage remains unknown.
