For the first time ever, the Westside Daze festival, which runs from July 12-14, will feature a beverage garden for adults. 

The annual event, which draws thousands of people to Memorial Park in West Kelowna each year, features rides, live music, food trucks, games and activities for all ages. Now, Westside Daze will also feature a beverage garden where adults can drink alcohol near the concert stage.

The beverage garden will be open from 6-10 p.m. on Saturday July 13, in Memorial Park.

Also in the park is the Children's Festival and the main stage where people can enjoy free concerts on the evening of Friday July 12 and throughout the day on Saturday July 13.

"Your kids can go on rides, you can have a drink and listen to music," said Tina Bisson, the president of Westside Daze.

The rides will be operated by from July 11, until July 14, near the Westside Daze event area.
