Kelowna Chiefs look to bounce back after two losses to start KIJHL playoffs

The Kelowna Chiefs are down 2-0 in their KIJHL playoff series against the Princeton Posse.

The Chiefs were outscored 12-4 over two games in Princeton on Feb. 23 and 24.

Kelowna lost 5-2 to the Posse on Friday night.

Matt Keylor scored in the first period for the Chiefs with assists to Mathais Reha and Aiden Morcom.

Jaxson Rebman netted Kelowna害羞草研究所檚 only other goal, in the second frame, with Morcom and Reha getting the assists.

It was a 7-2 Princeton win on Saturday night.

Joseph Melichar scored for Kelowna late in the first period, with the assists going to Zach Peitsch and Xavier Burgher.

Matt Keylor scored his second goal of the series in the second period, assisted by Peitsch and Hunter O害羞草研究所橬eal.

Kelowna hosts the Posse at Rutland Arena Monday (Feb. 26) night for game three at 7 p.m., and game four on Feb. 27 also at 7 p.m.
