With four games to go in the regular season, the red-hot Kelowna Rockets are looking to solidify their spot in the postseason this weekend.

Going into a home-and-home series against the Everett Silvertips, the Rockets are currently fifth in the Western Conference with a record of 31-28-4-1. They are one point behind the fourth-place Wenatchee Wild (who have six games left to go), two points ahead of the sixth-place Victoria Royals, and three points ahead of the seventh-place Vancouver Giants.

Kelowna has played their best hockey of late, as they achieved 16 of a possible 18 points in their last nine games, 7-0-1-1 in that stretch. While they have their playoff spot clinched, there is still lots of hockey to go to determine where they finish in the standings and who they害羞草研究所檒l play in the first round.

This weekend is a possible first-round preview as Everett sits third in the West with a record of 41-18-2-3. So far this season, the Rockets have lost both games against the Silvertips. Everett is 7-1-1-1 in their last 10 games.

The Rockets and Silvertips home-and-home begins on Friday night (Mar. 15) at Angel of the Winds Arena in Everett, while the two teams will be up at Prospera Place on Saturday night. Puck drop is at 7:05 p.m. on both nights.
