Kelownaº¦Ðß²ÝÑо¿Ëù™s Gracie Graham and Team Canada wonº¦Ðß²ÝÑо¿Ëù™t have the chance to win their third consecutive under-18 Womenº¦Ðß²ÝÑо¿Ëù™s World Junior Championship.
On Saturday morning (Jan. 13), Canada lost 4-2 to Czechia in the semi-final in Zug, Switzerland.
Czechia took advantage of their few opportunities in the game as they won despite being out-shot 47-12 in the contest.
Graham collected an assist in the game, on Chloe Primeranoº¦Ðß²ÝÑо¿Ëù™s powerplay goal.
In five games in the tournament, the Kelowna native has been a point a game player as she has a goal and four assists.
Graham and Team Canada can still medal as theyº¦Ðß²ÝÑо¿Ëù™ll be playing in the bronze medal game on Sunday, Jan. 14. They will be playing either the United States or Finland.
The last time Canada wasnº¦Ðß²ÝÑо¿Ëù™t in the gold medal game of this tournament was in 2018, when they won bronze.
