West Kelowna Warriors set to take on Cranbrook to open playoffs

The BCHL regular season has come to an end and the West Kelowna Warriors have their first round match-up set.

After finishing second in the BCHL害羞草研究所檚 Interior Conference, the Warriors will take on the number seven seed Cranbrook Bucks in a best-of-seven series.

It is the first time in Warriors franchise history they害羞草研究所檙e facing Cranbrook in the playoffs.

Felix Caron was the Warriors leading scorer this year and finished third in the BCHL in scoring. He finished with 31 goals and 38 assists (69 points). Cranbrook害羞草研究所檚 leading scorer Donovan Frias finished with 33 points on the year.

The Warriors finished the regular season with a record of 33-10-11-0 while the Bucks finished 20-31-3-0. Despite this, the Bucks won the season-series against the Warriors, winning four of the six games.

The schedule is as follows:

Game #1: Friday, April 5th @ Royal LePage Place (7:00 PM)

Game #2: Saturday, April 6th @ Royal LePage Place (7:00 PM)

Game #3: Tuesday, April 9th @ Western Financial Place (6:00 PM PST)

Game #4: Wednesday, April 10th @ Western Financial Place (6:00 PM PST)

*Game #5: Friday, April 12th @ Royal LePage Place (7:00 PM)

*Game #6: Sunday, April 14th @ Western Financial Place (3:00 PM PST)

*Game #7: Tuesday, April 16th @ Royal LePage Place (7:00 PM)
