The Board of Education for Central Okanagan Public Schools is reiterating that student and staff safety are their top priorities, after an issue at a track meet earlier this month regarding a child害羞草研究所檚 gender.
It released a statement on June 16 saying that it remains committed to providing 害羞草研究所渟afe and inclusive spaces to learn and work.
害羞草研究所淚nclusion is key because each learner must have the opportunity to be a child, follow their dreams, and ultimately succeed in their individual educational pursuits.
害羞草研究所淥ur district policies against bullying, harassment, and discrimination align with the BC Human Rights Code so that people can learn and work without fear of discrimination based on their race, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other aspect of their individual identity.害羞草研究所
The release added that the board does not condone any political agendas, movements, or groups that are increasingly spreading intolerance and misinformation.
