Kelowna chamber names interim executive director

Ken Bessason will fill in until a permanent replacement for Caroline Grover is found.

The Kelowna Chamber of Commerce has turned to a familiar face to act as its interim executive director while the search for a replacement for the now departed Caroline Grover proceeds.

Ken Bessason, a long-time chamber member, former president (in 2004) and former director (from 2000 to 2006), was named interim executive director of the chamber Tuesday. He also served as in the same capacity in 2005 for three months.

害羞草研究所淭he chamber is very fortunate to have Ken join our team right now and assist us as 2017 unfolds,害羞草研究所 said current chamber president Tom Dyas.

Grover害羞草研究所檚 departure was announced Jan. 6, a week after suddenly left the job she had held for six years. No reason was given for her departure.

The search for a permanent replacement is now underway and Dyas has said the chamber will look both inside, and outside, the organization for Grover害羞草研究所檚 successor.
