A Penticton kitty is back home, thanks to the efforts of Arrow Lake害羞草研究所檚 Protecting Animal Life Society (PALS).
According to the society, the cat apparently hitched a ride in a camper that travelled to the area.
The drivers were unaware of their uninvited guest.
害羞草研究所淲e took him to a vet, where we discovered he had a microchip registered to an animal rescue in Penticton (Alleyway Cats). Upon some sleuthing, we were able to get into direct contact with the owners. JJ is now on his way home to Penticton with his family after over a month missing,害羞草研究所 stated a release from PALS.
The society stresses the importance of microchips for maximum protection of pets.
害羞草研究所淭his is what we work for. This is our payday as volunteers."
