A swimming advisory at Okanagan Beach in Penticton was lifted on Saturday, July 27.
In an update at 2:45 p.m., city officials said the water advisory 害羞草研究所� issued between the S.S. Sicamous and just west of Power Street 害羞草研究所� is no longer in effect.
The section of the beach closed Friday afternoon, July 26, after a sample test identified higher-than-normal levels of E.coli bacteria.
Issued by the city in conjunction with Interior Health (IH), the advisory said bacterial levels were higher than those allowed in Health Canada害羞草研究所檚 Guidelines for Canadian Recreational Water Quality.
Signage that warns against swimming in the area is currently being removed, the city added in its update.
