A look into a major logging company害羞草研究所檚 forest and wildfire practices over the past two years has come up clean.
The Forest Practices Board conducted an audit of Tolko Industries Ltd.害羞草研究所檚 operations on timber licence T0816 in the Okanagan Shuswap Natural Resource District (near Revelstoke).
The field audit took place Oct. 23 to 27, 2023, examining operational planning, timber harvesting, road and bridge construction and maintenance, silviculture, and wildfire protection activities between Oct. 1, 2021 and Oct. 26, 2023.

The audit findings indicate that Tolko害羞草研究所檚 forest-management system includes processes and procedures that adequately address legal requirements and regulatory standards.
The Forest Practices Board is B.C.害羞草研究所檚 independent watchdog for sound forest and range practices, reporting its findings and recommendations directly to the public and government. The board audits forest and range practices on public lands and appropriateness of government enforcement. It can also make recommendations for improvement to practices and legislation.
