Vernon RCMP investigate fatal crash

A 66-year-old died in a motor-vehicle incident east of Vernon Wednesday, Dec. 20.

Shortly before 7:30 p.m., police received a report of a single-vehicle collision in the 4200 block of Highway 6 in Lavington (near Tolko).

害羞草研究所淎 witness to the collision told police they were following the vehicle eastbound on Highway 6 when it failed to negotiate a curve in the road and drove down an embankment,害羞草研究所 said Vernon North Okanagan RCMP media relations officer Const. Chris Terleski.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

Alcohol or drugs are not believed to be a factor in the collision.
