SilverStar Mountain Resort will open for alpine skiing tomorrow, Friday, Dec. 8.

害羞草研究所淲hile it is not the terrain we were hoping for, we are still excited to welcome alpine skiers back to the mountain,害羞草研究所� said Ian Jenkins, director of sales, marketing and events. 害羞草研究所淭here will be limited trails open but with more snow, we will look to open more terrain and lifts as conditions allow.害羞草研究所�

Limited upper mountain terrain will be open via Gondola access. Seven runs will be open from the Gondola as well as two additional runs at the Silver Queen Chair. The Tube Town carpet will also be running for opening weekend providing additional access to beginner terrain at Silver Queen. But tubing and skating will not be open this weekend.

In time for opening, SilverStar will also launch the new Bannister Terrain Park at Silver Queen with a variety of features.

The annual Christmas Light Up is back this opening weekend on Saturday, Dec. 9. Due to anticipated crowds, guests are advised to arrive early. A detailed event schedule can be found .

Tube Town Cafe will be open Saturday and Sunday for riders, and the Tube Town Ticket Office will be open for anyone who needs to purchase a pass or ticket product.
