Kelowna Rockets superstar Andrew Cristall has signed his entry-level contract with the Washington Capitals, just a week after the team selected him in the second round (40th overall) of the 2023 NHL Entry Draft.

During the duration of the three-year contract, the 18-year-old will make $810,000 per season at the NHL level and $82,500 per season at the AHL level. Under the CHL/NHL agreement, Cristall will be back with the Kelowna Rockets for the 2023-24 season unless he makes the Capitals opening night roster.

In 115 career WHL games, all with the Rockets, Cristall has put up 164 points (67 goals, 97 assists).
