Continuing to build their lead, Salmon Armº¦Ðß²ÝÑо¿Ëù™s Isaac Lambert nabbed a fourth goal almost eight minutes into the second and Ty Paisley built a five-goal lead four minutes later, his first BCHL goal.

As the second period narrowed down, West Kelowna got on the board with a power play goal from captain Brennan Nelson.

Keeping up the momentum, Casy Laylin added a sixth goal to the Silverbacks streak with his first of the season nearly three minutes in, which was followed by goals by Warriors Nelson and Felix Caron in an attempt to catch up.

A tip-in by Cooksey at 13 minutes would prove to be the last goal of the game, finishing off the Silverbacksº¦Ðß²ÝÑо¿Ëù™ win.

The game saw a total of 15 penalties and West Kelowna switching goalies about halfway through the second.

West Kelowna outshot Salmon Arm 37-29.

These two teams face off again tonight (Oct. 7) at Royal LePage Place in West Kelowna, with puck drop at 7 p.m.
