Peachland Watershed Protection Alliance is celebrating World Water Day with an event on Mar. 23.

It promises an afternoon of family fun, art, story-telling, and crafts at the 50+ Centre at 5672 Beach Avenue in Peachland from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Special guests will share their water stories from Peachland害羞草研究所檚 settler history to the eternal stories from Syilx traditions.

UBC professor and wildfire expert Dr. Lori Daniels will speak about forestry and wildfires, and questions.

There will be a screening of the documentary film 害羞草研究所淗ell and High Water害羞草研究所 as well as a film about the tragedy of the 2021 Lytton wildfire and the devastating flooding of Merritt.

The event admission is by donation and everyone is welcome.
